The San Diego Padres have made several roster adjustments in an effort to maintain depth and flexibility during the midseason period. Reliever Jeremiah Estrada has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to right knee inflammation, and infielder Miguel Andujar has been added to the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain. Infielder Nick Solak has been promoted from the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas to take Andujar's roster spot, while the team has also called up outfielder Jase Bowen to make his major league debut. Additionally, the Padres have released outfielder Nick Castellanos after designating him for assignment, a move that has created space on the roster.
