The typhoon has already impacted southern Japan. At least three people were hurt there. Power went out for more than 34,000 households. Official sea warnings and weather alerts remain in place throughout Taiwan, Zhejiang, Fujian, and ten provinces and cities as the storm makes its closest approach tomorrow.
