Typhoon Saudel approaches Taiwan tomorrow. Authorities released sea warnings today. The storm covers a wide area about four times the size of Zhejiang. It reaches Zhejiang and Fujian beginning tonight. Ten provinces and cities have alerts for severe rainstorms. Rain will fall heavily.

The typhoon has already impacted southern Japan. At least three people were hurt there. Power went out for more than 34,000 households. Official sea warnings and weather alerts remain in place throughout Taiwan, Zhejiang, Fujian, and ten provinces and cities as the storm makes its closest approach tomorrow.
