Bandai Namco unveiled the Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO and the RG Project vision on that day. Director Kenji Kamiyama will take the helm for the upcoming anime, planned to premiere in 2027. The project introduces a fresh Gundam universe, entirely distinct from prior canon. The XARX-ZERO is connected to the upcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit project. Kamiyama aims to build a new timeline for the franchise.
