Law enforcement have traced Pamela Gwinnett, accused of stealing £300,000, a substantial amount from a pensioner in Chorley, Lancashire. She fled to Spain before going missing. Spanish authorities now plan to return her to the UK for the the fraud allegation, after several months of cross‑border police work in cooperation. Gwinnett had evaded capture for a short time since leaving the UK in early 2025. The case began with initial reports of her preying on senior citizens before her abrupt departure. Lancashire Constabulary recently confirmed her extradition on Friday.
