Penarth’s small Welsh vineyard is a small Welsh site where Bernard and Tanya Herbert brought vines to life in 1999. By 2001 the fully planted 10 acres bore fruit, with varieties including Madeleine Angevine and Pinot Noir, primarily Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay for sparkling wine. Wines are produced by Three Choirs at Newent. The site remains without its own winery, relying on external production.
