The PGA Tour stated he wagered on championship matches. His betting took place on several Tour events throughout the season. The suspension starts immediately and continues for six months. The ban is set for six months.
ESPN and Golf Channel released the news on Wednesday. Golf Digest and Golfweek published the story afterward. The league said his bets covered Tour competitions. He will not compete or receive prize money during the disciplinary period.
