The Scottish Government has pledged a £14m funding injection for the refurbishment of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total costs for the museum work now pass £50m. The historic site aiming to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has been shut for an extended time.
BBC and The Herald indicated the venue is scheduled to stay shut until 2029.
