Inter Milan were trailing 2-0 at home on Saturday. Napoli took two separate leads but could not hold either one. Inter scored three times in the second half and sealed a 3-2 victory.
Inter take all three points. Three games into the 2026-27 Serie A season, the result leaves them in strong early standing. Napoli, coached by Massimiliano Allegri, leave empty-handed.
It was a rough opening 45 minutes for Inter, who looked out of sorts before the break. Napoli controlled the tempo and appeared set for a comfortable win.
The second half, though, was a different match entirely. Inter raised their intensity and flipped the result. The home crowd at San Siro provided a lift.
For Napoli, the collapse is a tough pill to swallow. Allegri's side were in a commanding position and let it slip. It is a result that will frustrate the away camp heading into the next round of matches.
