Oman called the talks constructive. At the same time, the United States is pausing further restrictions related to the conflict.

Iran also released a blacklist for oil tankers in Gulf waters. This list creates fresh hazards for moving crude across the region. Moving oil is hazardous now. Iran and Oman continue discussing ship paths. Even so, Iran insists that the Strait stays closed.
